Sureshanteyum Sumalathayudeyum Hrudayahariyaya Pranayakadha follows Sureshan and Sumalatha, who are deeply in love but face severe opposition. Sumalatha’s father, Sudhakaran Nahar, strongly opposes their relationship because of caste differences and social status. Sureshan’s family is also initially unsupportive, viewing his romantic pursuits and antics as a waste of time.

To break the deadlock and win over his stubborn potential father-in-law, Sureshan comes up with a unique strategy. Knowing that Sudhakaran Nahar is deeply obsessed with traditional musical drama and theatre, Sureshan decides to produce and direct a local play titled Sadarama.

The film is a spin-off based on supporting characters from the 2022 Nna Thaan Case Kodu starring Kunchacko Boban.

Sureshanteyum Sumalathayudeyum Hrudayahariyaya Pranayakadha stars Rajesh Madhavan and Chithra Nair in the lead roles. The film also features Sudheesh, Jinu Joseph, Sharanya Ramachandran, and Sharath Ravi in key roles. Kunchacko Boban also makes a cameo appearance in the film.

Written and directed by Ratheesh Balakrishnan Poduval, the movie was produced by Emmanuel Joseph and Ajith Thalappilly under the banners of Silver Bay Studios and Silver Bromide Pictures. With music composed by Dawn Vincent, the film’s cinematography was handled by Sabin Uralikandy, while Akash Thomas served as the editor.

The movie received mixed reviews from critics and failed at the box office.

Rajesh Madhavan recently made his directorial debut with the film Pennum Porattum. The satirical comedy-drama featured Dinesh Peppo, Satheesh Pulikka, Raina Radhakrishnan, Sanooj Alanaloor, and Sumithra Krishnan in key roles. Additionally, Tovino Thomas lent his voice to a pet dog in the film.
