It hasn’t been long when South superstar Suriya had confirmed testing positive for COVID 19. The actor had taken to his social media handle to confirm the news and wrote, “I am suffering from 'corona' infection and am receiving treatment. We will all realize that life has not yet returned to normal. Can't be paralyzed with fear. At the same time, safety and attention are essential.” Needless to say, the Soorarai Pottru star’s tweet got his massive fan following quite worried about his health. However, as per a recent update, Suriya is back home post his COVID 19 treatment.

The update was given by Suriya’s brother Karthi, who took to micro-blogging site Twitter and revealed that the Thaanaa Serndha Koottam actor has been doing fine and will be in home quarantine for a couple of days. Furthermore, Karthi also expressed his gratitude towards the fans for their prayers for Suriya. “Anna is back home and all safe! Will be in home quarantine for a few days. Can’t thank you all enough for the prayers and best wishes,” Karthi had tweeted.

Meanwhile, talking about the work front, Suriya had recently wrapped the shooting of Mani Ratnam’s Navarasa. The actor is also gearing up for Suriya 40 which is being helmed by Pandiraj. Besides, he is also producing another project which has been directed by Gnanavel. This isn’t all. Suriya will also be reportedly seen in a cameo role in R Madhavan’s directorial debut Rocketry: The Nambi Effect.
