Suriya47: Composer Sushin Shyam says Suriya starrer actioner will have ‘flavors of Aavesham’
Suriya starrer Suriya47 is the upcoming action film, directed by Aavesham fame Jithu Madhavan, with Sushin Shyam composing it.
Suriya is currently working on his upcoming film, Suriya47, directed by Jithu Madhavan. In a recent interaction, the film's composer, Sushin Shyam, shared that the soundtrack will carry shades of Aavesham.

Speaking with The Cue Studio, Sushin Shyam said, "I am so excited for Suriya47. Being a Suriya film itself is enough for the hype. As I just completed Balan, S47 will be a complete contrast album from me. Suriya47's album will be in an enjoyable and commercial space. It will have the flavours of Aavesham, so it's a bit challenging for me not to repeat it. Another challenge is that it's my first film in Tamil, so I'm trying my best to deliver something that suits the Tamil audience's taste."
Interestingly, recent online reports suggest that the film may be titled Saravedi. However, the makers have not made any official announcement regarding the title.

Suriya47 is an upcoming action comedy that reportedly features Suriya as an eccentric police officer leading a team of equally quirky individuals. Their lives take an unexpected turn when they are assigned a new mission. Alongside Naslen in a pivotal role, the film also stars Nazriya Nazim Fahadh as the female lead.
Earlier, Naslen revealed that filming was expected to wrap up by the end of June 2026. The movie was initially expected to release later this year. However, recent reports indicate that it may arrive during Pongal 2027 instead, although there has been no official confirmation from the makers.
Suriya's work front
Suriya was last seen in the lead role in Karuppu. Directed by RJ Balaji, the fantasy action drama also stars Trisha Krishnan, RJ Balaji, Indrans, Anagha Maya Ravi, Natarajan Subramaniam, Swasika, and Sshivada in key roles. The film is available for streaming on Prime Video.
Looking ahead, the actor is set to headline Vishwanath And Sons, directed by Venky Atluri. Co-starring Mamitha Baiju, the film is scheduled to release on August 14, 2026. Apart from the lead pair, the cast also includes Radikaa Sarathkumar and Raveena Tandon in prominent roles.
