Vijayam: Nivin Pauly and Alphonse Puthren reunite for 3rd time after Premam and Neram for a motocross film
After 11 years of Premam’s release, Nivin Pauly and director Alphonse Puthren reunite for their 3rd collaboration titled Vijayam.
Nivin Pauly and director Alphonse Puthren are reuniting once again for a new film titled Vijayam. The makers have officially unveiled the first-look poster along with an announcement teaser that hints at the film's theme.

Taking to his social media handle, Nivin Pauly shared the official first-look poster and announcement teaser for the film. The actor-producer wrote, "Every great ride begins with a little faith... and someone willing to take the first turn with you. Back with the friend who started this journey with me. Presenting the official first-look poster of Vijayam. An Alphonse Puthren Film."

The announcement teaser features Alphonse Puthren photographing ants and other insects on a narrow road, playfully referencing his signature filmmaking style. As Nivin Pauly arrives on a motocross bike, the two share a lighthearted exchange, hinting that the film could revolve around dirt-bike racing.
With Puthren also handling the editing, the film features music composed by Steve Kottoor and cinematography by Shinoz. Vijayam is produced under the Pauly Jr. Pictures banner and marks Nivin Pauly's 50th film as an actor.
Previously, Nivin Pauly and Alphonse Puthren collaborated on the iconic film Premam. The romantic comedy chronicles the life of George David across three phases, exploring teenage infatuation, first love, heartbreak, and eventual maturity.
Apart from Nivin, the film starred Sai Pallavi, Madonna Sebastian, Anupama Parameswaran, Shabareesh Varma, Krishna Sankar, Siju Wilson, and several others in key roles. Premam received widespread acclaim upon its release and continues to enjoy a cult following.
Prior to Premam, the duo had worked together on the comdy thriller movie Neram as well.
Nivin Pauly’s work front
Nivin Pauly was last seen in the lead role in Prathichaya, a thriller directed by B. Unnikrishnan. The film revolves around an intense father-son relationship set against the backdrop of modern warfare and digital surveillance. It also stars Balachandra Menon, Sharaf U Dheen, Sabitha Anand, Ann Augustine, and Harisree Ashokan in key roles.
Looking ahead, the actor will be seen alongside Mamitha Baiju in the romantic comedy Bethlehem Kudumba Unit, directed by Girish AD. He also has Benz, Yezhu Kadal Yezhu Malai, and Dear Students in his upcoming lineup.
