South superstar Vikram is currently busy gearing up for his upcoming release Kadaram Kondan. The film, which also stars Akshara Haasan in the lead role, is a Tamil action thriller directed by Rajesh Selva and produced by Akshara’s father and superstar Kamal Haasan. Kadaram Kondan is all set to release on 19 July 2019, along with its Telugu-dubbed version Mister KK. The trailer of the much-anticipated film was recently released by the makers and at the launch event, Vikram interacted with the media.

At the event, Vikram was all praises for the superstar Kamal Haasan. He shared, “Whenever people ask me which film I would want to remake, I will always say 16 Vayadhinile and the role of Chappani. It was a beautifully rendered character. He (Kamal Hassan) had portrayed the role with so much maturity even in that period.”

In the much awaited film Kadaram Kondan, Vikram will be seen playing the role of a mysterious double agent and a former paramilitary commando of Indian descent. The trailer has received a thumbs up from the audience and fans are eagerly waiting to see Vikram and Akshara on the screen together. The soundtrack of the film is composed by Ghibran, who will be continuing his association with the director and Kamal after Thoongaa Vanam.
