Sri Lanka will appear against India in their last Cricket World Cup 2019 match at Headingley on Saturday. The Lankans went off to a bad start, however, they came back as strong. Though couldn’t do enough to make it to the top four. They currently have eight points from as many games and stand at the sixth spot in the points table.

Although it would be dead-rubber for Dimuth Kurunaratne’s men, they would want to finish on top. With India playing some top quality cricket, it won’t be easy either. The Men in Blue after losing to England defeated spirited Bangladesh in the last game. They would be eyeing a win to boost themselves ahead of the semi-finals. Before going into the game, let’s go through the weather forecast and pitch conditions for the match.

Weather forecast

After some pleasant weather for last week or so, the rain might return tomorrow again to halt World Cup 2019. However, the chances are very minimal and cricket enthusiasts would be hoping that clouds don’t burst. The clouds will be all over Leeds with temperatures ranging from 17 to 20 celsius.

Pitch conditions

Leeds has had good batting tracks with some spin on offer thus far in the tournament. The strip for tomorrow is also expected to be a batting-friendly with spinners finding some help as well.
