Yuvraj Singh, a proven match-winner for Team India since 2002 announced his retirement from cricket. He will also not play the IPL, but is looking for opportunities to play in global leagues.

The southpaw has been congratulated by many current and former players on a magnificent career that started with him starring in the NatWest Trophy Finals in 2002, in the T20 World Cup in 2007 and then in the 2011 World Cup, all of which India won.

Twitteratis have been sharing throwback pictures and videos of the left-hander since he announced his farewell.

In one video that was shared, Yuvraj was seen interviewing MS Dhoni after the latter gave up his captaincy in 2017. When asked how he was feeling after giving up the throne by Yuvi, Dhoni stated that having players like Yuvraj in the team made his task easier.

In another major throwback that will leave fans grinning with nostalgia, the very last selfie that he took with his teammates on the field was circulated as well. Yuvraj played his last ODI for India in July 2017 against West Indies.
