About her fitness regimen, Deepika had said in an earlier interview, “I do regular exercise, yoga, eat healthy and positive thinking is what makes me look good. I do a lot of free-hand weights and 4 to 5 sets of stretching exercises with 20 reps, in between pilates or stretching routines.”
In another interview, Deepika had said, “I was always slim but I knew my body had the potential to really look defined. I wasn't fat or out of shape, but I wanted to look a lot better. Pilates and Strength training did wonders for my tone and definition. I may have lost maybe a kilo or two at the most in all this time, but have lost inches all around and it shows. I try and exercise as often as I can, but when I'm travelling or shooting, I tend to skip it for days on end."
Meanwhile, Deepika will soon start prepping for her next. She will be seen in Sapna Didi biopic which will be helmed by Vishal Bhardwaj and also stars Irrfan Khan opposite Deepika.
In an EXCLUSIVE tête-à-tête with Pinkvilla, Deepika got candid about getting to work with Vishal and Irrfan. The actor had said, "I'm going to use this as an opportunity to go back to being a student in so many ways because I feel like I'm going to learn so much from this. Of course, I learn with every film experience, I learn so much. But, I think it will be time for me to really stay very focused and imbibe and learn from Irrfan and from Vishal sir. But it's also going to be a lot of fun. They both have an amazing sense of humour. I don't know if the atmosphere will allow for that but I do know that in our downtime, we'll have a good time as well."
