One of the much awaited Friday of this new year is around the corner when two of most important films will be releasing, i.e. Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi and Thackeray. The audiences are waiting to watch both these films. Today is the birth anniversary of late Shiv Sena Chief, Balasaheb Thackeray. On this occasion, Kangana Ranaut and her team got together to do something extremely special for the dynamic and charismatic leader.

Kangana recorded a video in which she is seen remembering the Maratha leader. She can be seen talking about his great leadership abilities and his patriotic feeling towards the country. Ahead of the release of her film Manikarnika, Kangana’s team shared this video and paid their respect to the great leader. Kangana in true queen style spoke of his greatness. This Friday, both Manikarnika and Thackeray will be clashing at the box office.

Bal Keshav Thackeray, who was also known as Balasaheb Thackeray, was a great leader who was known for his dynamic and fearless attitude. He also was fondly called as Tiger. His biopic stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Amrita Rao. The movie will release with Kangana Ranaut’s Manikarnika which is the story of the Queen of Jhansi Rani Laxmibai who fought against the East India Company and contributed to the freedom struggle. Manikarnika also marks Kangana’s debut as a director along with Krish. Both the movies will be hitting the screens on January 25, 2019.
