In this week’s episodes of Vincenzo, an incredible turn of events bring forward the plot twist that nobody expected. A heartbreaking passing away of Vincenzo’s father figure/Hong Cha Young’s father and Vincenzo’s own attempted murder, light the fire of revenge in Cha Young’s eyes. With the runaway drug researcher confiding in Hong Yu Chan, Babel was threatened enough for Lawyer Choi Myung Hee to order the unfortunate event. Vincenzo survives but he now has an even stronger sense of vengeance. Most of the action happens in episode 4 where Vincenzo wakes up with Hong Cha Young crying by his side. He wants her to stay away from the mess her father found himself in but she’s determined to do something about it. Especially after finding out the connection between “RDU” and her father and thereby, Babel’s role in the whole situation, Hong Cha Young doesn’t wait a second before handing in her resignation. Even when she’s threatened by Choi Myung Hee, she stands her ground, strongly.

Cha Young asks Vincenzo for his help on her quest for the truth and while he denies at first, she comes right back to him and eventually, he agrees, under the condition that she has to quit if she causes a hindrance. They go to the prison to meet the truck driver and coerce him into confessing that it was not an accident and that a certain Mr. Pyo had ordered him to run the truck into the restaurant. The two hunt down Mr. Pyo and his accomplice, threatening them under gunpoint to confess who their boss was. Eventually, they find out that Choi Myung Hee was the real perpetrator and mastermind behind the accident. Vincenzo locks her in the laundry room she frequents, with a truck flashing its headlights right at the glass doors, giving her a taste of her own medicine until she admits her crime. Finally, Vincenzo gives her an ultimatum to clear Hong Yu Chan’s name.

Accompanied by grieving former clients of Hong Yu Chan, Vincenzo, Hong Cha Young and Nam Joo Sung from Jipuragi, locate the supply warehouse of Babel and burn the entire building down to the ground. In the final shot, we see the true head of Babel show himself and in what was possible the biggest plot twist, Ok Taecyeon’s character Jang Joon Woo appears, menacing and powerful. His face has completely changed, emerging now as the primary antagonist of the narrative.
