Yuvraj Singh, who played a major role in India’s 2011 World Cup triumph retired from international cricket, made several revelations catering to a lot of controversies. The former Indian all-rounder revealed that he was promised a farewell game from BCCI if he failed the yo-yo fitness test. However, he made it very clear that if he does not pass the match, he would head straight back home and also stated that he doesn’t want a retirement game as offered. However, he passed the fitness test but was never called back to the team.

The Indian stalwart surely has a lot to say about this yo-yo test which has also become the basis for selection in the Indian cricket team. However, he has decided to let it go for now and will reveal more about it post the on-going World Cup tournament. He said that he has a lot to say about it, but will not speak further as India is playing the World Cup. He mentioned that he doesn’t want any controversies around the players and wants them to be in the best space to be able to focus on the matches.

Yuvraj also stated that his time will come to speak. He retired because he wanted to move on with his life and his time will come to speak about all these issues.
