We've often witnessed actors not being able to be a part of a movie for various reasons ranging from unavailability of dates to remuneration issues.

One such actor who's walked out of a movie due to low remuneration is Saif Ali Khan. The Nawab of Patuadi has refused to work on Reema Kagti's Mr. Chaloo, produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar. Mr. Chaloo is a dark comedy with the lead role of a suave womaniser.

Actress Kangana Ranut was finalized opposite Saif.

Actually, the makers felt that Saif should take a cut in his remuneration as his recent movies (Happy Ending, Humshakals and Bullett Raja) didn't well at the box office.

Of course, Saif believed otherwise. As per a report by Mumbai Mirror, Saif was getting a certain amount for a movie directed by Sujoy Ghosh and produced by Ekta Kapoor.

yayyy, now shahid and kangana in the film. wonderful!!!!

I have a feeling if he was in the movie, he would have been miscast again.

I'm really disappointed to hear the news, as I was looking forward to seeing Saif Ali Khan work with an interesting director like Reema Kagti (Honeymoon Travels Pvt. Ltd, Talaash) as well as starring opposite the powerhouse performer Kangana Ranaut, this film could have been a turning point in his flagging career. Oh well, it'll be interesting to see who will be replacing Saif now, I can't really think of any suitable actors.... Maybe Fawad Khan?

good that he left...now the producers can make a better movie with a better actor. All the best. Looking forward to the movie.
