So you have been bingeing on a new TV show, which obviously leads to several sleepless nights! Boom, one day you wake up only to see you have suddenly developed dark circles under your eyes. Well, if you find yourself in this situation then other than colour correction and a good concealer, here are DIY natural ways you can get rid of dark circles ASAP!

1. Almond Oil

A popular ingredient in Indian household Almond oil is great to get rid of dark circles. Gently apply almond oil under your eyes and massage it in. Regular usage of almond oil will help fade under eye circles over time.

2. Aloe Vera Gel

Aloe vera soothes the skin and hydrates it. Its nourishing properties reduce the pigmentation under the eye and make the sensitive skin in that area healthier. Simply massage some on and watch the dark circles vanish away.

3. Raw Potato

This is deemed to be the most instant solution, other than makeup of course. Raw potatoes have natural bleaching agents present in it, which help lighten the discoloration under your eyes. You can either extract the juice of raw potato and apply it under your eyes using a cotton swab or you can apply the thick slice of raw potato under your eyes.

4. Green Tea Bags

Green tea helps reduce dilated blood vessels which cause dark circles under the eyes as it contains tannins that have astringent properties.

5. Change your sleeping position

If dark, puffy seem to be the morning problem, consider sleeping on your back with an extra pillow so that fluid doesn't pool overnight.

6. Remove Your Makeup Before Going to Bed

Leaving your eye makeup on all night can irritate your eyes causing dark circles. Make sure to gently remove your eye makeup before hitting the hay to help eliminate any added irritation around the eyes.

7. Be gentle with makeup

Now if you are following advice #6, you sure as hell should follow that up with this too. Your undereye skin is among the thinnest on the body, so any trauma or irritation can cause skin inflammation. Remove your makeup by wiping it off in gentle strokes in one direction, rather than rubbing it back and forth.
