Gram flour or besan is an extremely important ingredient when it comes to Indian cooking. But it also plays a major role in giving us stunning hair and skin. Listed below are some of the DIY easy hair and face masks which you can make using besan to get that instant glow. 

 

Aloe vera and besan face mask

 

 

When two of the best natural ingredients come together then you are bound to get a flawless glow. Take 1 teaspoon of besan and 1 teaspoon of aloe vera gel. Mix the two together and apply it on your face. Let it sit on your face for 10 minutes and then wash it off with cool water. 

 

Multani mitti and besan face mask 

 

 

Multani mitti again is that ingredient which has been a constant in almost every Indian household. It instantly brings in the natural glow and when mixed with besan works wonders. All you need is 2 teaspoon of multani mitti, 1 teaspoon of besan and 1 teaspoon of rose water. Mix it all together and make a thick paste out of it. Apply it on your face and leave it on for about 20 minutes or until it dries off. Try this once every week to get the best results. 

 

Banana and besan face pack

 

 

Banana as we all know is great for our health. In case if you have ripe bananas left you can smash three to four of those, mix it with besan add a bit of milk or rose water and make a paste. Apply it nicely all over your face and leave it on for about 10-15 minutes. Wash it off with cool water. 

 

Curd and besan hair mask

 

 

Curd and besan will act as magic if you want strong, healthy, shiny hair and will also boost hair growth. All you have to do is take some besan, add curd to it and a pinch of turmeric. Apply it nicely on your roots and scalp and leave it on for about 30 minutes. Wash it off with a mild shampoo followed by a conditioner. Do this once a week to get the best results. 

 

Egg and besan hair mask

Remember when they said that egg is all you need for luscious tresses? Well, turns out it is 100% true. Take some besan and egg, whisk them together. Add some lemon juice and honey to it and apply it on the roots and lengths of the hair. Keep it on for about 15-20 minutes and wash away with a mild shampoo and conditioner.
