Acne is one of the biggest problems faced by most girls. It has been an impending problem and continues to do so. When it comes to breakouts, everybody has their own solution. Despite trying and testing multiple methods, the problem still persists and if you have tried everything from exfoliating to visiting the dermatologist, it could be a dietary problem as well. Birth control pills, sugar intake, etc. are also causes of this. 

Get rid of this problem once and for all by following these methods below!

Cut out the sugar

Too much sugar in the system tends to cause breakouts. Replace sugar with substitutes like honey or jaggery. These items contain natural sugar that will help balance out your blood sugar level as well. 

Cut out oil

Oil is nothing but fat and too much of it can lead to cholesterol and other problems. Instead of vegetable oil, opt for coconut oil. 

Consume more protein

Since you are cutting sugar out of your diet, consumption of protein helps improve the blood sugar level. Products like chicken, eggs, fish and beef are high in protein that help in getting rid of acne when consumed in moderation in the long run. 

Consume more probiotics

Probiotics like yogurt, buttermilk, cream, milk, etc. help in boosting the immune system. This means that if you consume enough probiotics, the dirt on your face will not get infected. And even if an infection does arise, it can be combated with minimal care.

Consume more fibre

Fibrous foods are incredibly healthy and kill off the bad bacteria while promoting the growth of good ones. Foods like almonds, vegetables, chia seeds and sprouts are some foods that have high fibrous content. Consume them to get rid of those stubborn acne

Apply lemon

Do a weekly cleanse on your skin by applying lemon on it. Lemons act as an astringent that help in cleansing the skin, bleaching it a little and even shrinking the acne when applied directly on it. Do this continuously, and see how your skin responds to this wonderful treatment!

Consume more green tea

Sipping on green tea in short intervals helps flush out the toxins from the body and keeps it clean. Green tea bags can even be applied on face to reduce and fight inflammation. 

Acne affects numerous people everyday and it is not very easy to disguise. It might not be the simplest way to get rid of the problem all at once, but practice these diets and routines, and your skin will thank you!
