Who doesn’t love glowing skin? A healthy glow on the face is what we all crave. No matter what our skin one is, we all deserve a fresh face with rosy pink cheeks. While the pollution and irregular sleeping patterns are stripping it all away from us, there is still a chance at achieving the skin of your dreams. We asked Celebrity Cosmetic Dermatologist for some home-remedies for achieving glowing skin and she was quick enough to list two of her favourite ones.

1. ALOE VERA:

This did not come to us by surprise. We’ve been hearing about the benefits and uses of aloe vera for years now. Aloe vera is a plant that contains gel-like interiors. This gel is very useful for the skin. It has Antioxidant and antibacterial properties that help in dealing with acne and oily skin.

Not just that, it also helps in slowing down the ageing process by visibly reducing fine lines and wrinkles. It further helps in moisturising the skin while the vitamins in it help in refreshing the layers of the skin. What better way to get glowing skin? Sharad suggests, ‘Apply pure aloe vera gel on your face for 10 mins and rinse if you have oily or acne-prone skin.’ this can give you a glowing complexion in just a matter of minutes.

2. PAPAYA | CUCUMBER:

Fruits and vegetables contain natural vitamins that are good for the skin. Papaya moisturises the skin while providing it with much-needed nutrients. It also helps in reducing dark patches and pigmentation which is extremely common for Indian skin tone. Not just that, it will also help in clearing out any acne scars that have left marks on the face.

On the other hand, cucumber replenishes and rejuvenates the skin. It helps in reducing puffiness under the eyes while dealing with dark circles. Not just that,  it also helps in tightening the open pores of the skin and also act as the best toner. Dr Jaishree suggests mixing the two of them for optimum results, ‘Papaya mixed with cucumber can be used as a mask for an instant glow for all skin types.’
