Waxing is always such a painful process. Going through the pain of waxing is hard enough and to top it off we always end up with post-wax redness and bumps. And the worst part is that it often ends with pimples and a burning sensation. There's no way to evade this problem. It's not like we can stop waxing our body hair and wear a dress with full growth because more than anything else it just doesn't look clean. We all want smooth and clean arms and legs but it's difficult to deal with bumps too. Right after a painful waxing session, we all need something that can soothe the soreness and get rid of the ugly bumps and reduce the redness. Our skin needs to be given that time to heal and the best way to do it is by using natural home remedies.

Here are some quick home remedies to get rid of the post-wax bumps and discomfort.

1. Aloe Vera

Nothing can soothe your skin better than aloe vera. Take some fresh aloe vera gel and mix it with a carrier oil like olive oil or baby oil because the direct application of it may lead to an allergic reaction. Massage this mixture onto your skin and let it do its job.

2. Tea Tree Oil

Tea tree oil has anti-inflammatory properties. Mix some tea tree essential oil with some jojoba or olive oil and rub in on the waxed area for a few minutes and leave it be overnight.

3. Milk

Milk is known to moisturise and soothe the skin and right after a harsh wax that's what our skin needs. Take some cold milk and massage it all over the waxed area and leave it be for a while. Milk reduces redness and pain and makes your skin feel better and moisturized as well.

4. Cucumber

Cucumber has high water content and it hydrates your skin and also gives a cooling effect to the skin. Take some cucumber slices and rub them on your waxed skin to soothe it.
