Dark circles are one of the most common problems faced by almost everybody today. Whether it is from staying up too late to watch Netflix or work, or it is just heredity dark circles look incredibly bad and makes people look much older than they are. This happens because the skin below the eyes is extremely thin, as compared to other parts of the body. This skin is also extremely delicate which is why it is more visible. 

Here are some easy home remedies to get rid of dark circles once and for all!

Potato

One of the yummiest foods on earth, Potatoes are also known for their natural bleaching properties. All you need to do, is grate chilled potatoes, extract their juice in a bowl and soak cotton pads in them. Place these cotton pads on your eyes for around 20 minutes and you will instantly feel a difference. 

Cucumber

One of the most common remedies for dark circles, cold cucumber slices can be placed on the eyes as it helps reduce puffiness and acts as a coolant. This also makes the dark under eye circles less prominent over time.

Tomato

The fruit is a natural bleaching agent and even contains antioxidants that helps in reducing discoloration. Mix half a spoon of tomato juice with 2 spoons flour and then apply it under your eyes. Rinse this paste off after 20 minutes. 

Tea bags

Dip two teabags in water and then keep them in the fridge. Place this over your eyes. This is one of the best remedies as the caffeine present in the tea bags shrinks the blood vessels in the eyes and and makes them look less puffy. Repeat this twice a day to see results. 

Lemon juice and Almond oil

Mix a few drops of lemon juice with a spoon of almond oil. Massage this around your eyes for five minutes Wash off after 10 minutes. Lemon has bleaching qualities that will help get rid of the darkness under the eyes. 

Aloe vera

 

One of the most natural moisturisers available, aloe vera is also anti-inflammatory. All you need to do is clean the area under your eyes and apply some aloe vera pulp. Let it stay for 10 minutes before washing it off
