So if you have got your hair coloured but think that the hair-dye has gone wrong, then this trick can surely help you say goodbye to the unwanted hair colour. Yes, that trick is baking soda. Baking soda can help you remove the unwanted hair colour. 

 

But this only applies if the hair colour is not permanent. If you've coloured your hair permanently, and want to get rid of it, then, in that case, it's advisable to consult a specialist. However, if the colour is not permanent, then follow these Baking soda tricks to get rid of the unwanted colour right away. 

 

Wash your hair with baking soda and vinegar:

 

 

Baking soda and vinegar are known for their cleansing properties. And using this mix will help you get rid of the colour to a certain extent. Combine 2 tbsp of baking soda with a half cup of water. Apply this mixture on your hair, let it stay for 10 minutes and then rinse it. Once you are done with that, then take some apple cider vinegar, water, and essential oil in a jug and pour it through your hair as a final rinse. Do this thrice a week, to get the results. 

 

Baking soda and anti-dandruff shampoo:

 

 

Anti-dandruff shampoos have clarifying properties which will help strip the colour from your hair. And baking soda will remove colour without causing as much damage as bleach would. In a bowl mix 2tbsp of baking soda and anti-dandruff shampoo. Wet your hair with warm water and then apply this mixture on your hair. Leave it for 20 minutes and wash it off with warm water. Try doing this at least 3-4 times a week. 

 

Baking soda and lemon:

 

 

Lemon is known for its strong bleaching properties, and if used in combination with baking soda, it will help you get rid of that colour to an extent. Take 2tbsp of lemon and 2tbsp of baking soda in a bowl and mix it will. Apply it on your coloured hair and leave it for 15-25 minutes. And then, shampoo and condition your hair well. 

 

Baking soda and vitamin C:

 

 

Using vitamin C tablets to get rid of hair colour is quite popular. And if you use anti-dandruff shampoo and baking soda in this method, then the process becomes more effective. In a bowl, take 2tbsp of anti-dandruff shampoo, 5 crushed vitamin-c tablets, and 1tbsp of baking soda. Apply the mixture on wet hair and leave it for 30-60 minutes.
