And one such thing that works wonders for your hair is potato. Potatoes are loaded with nutrients like vitamin A, B, C and vitamin B 6, iron and zinc. Use of Potato hair packs will nourish the hair follicles, strengthen hair roots, reduce hair fall and stimulate hair growth. Read below to know how to make potato hair packs at home.

 

Potato and Lemon hair pack for hair fall and dandruff:

 

In a blender, take 3 potatoes and blend them well to extract the juice. Put the juice in a bowl and add 1 egg yolk, half a cup of lemon juice to it. Mix them well to form a paste. Apply all over your hair and scalp. Massage gently and let it sit for 30 minutes. Post that wash your hair with lukewarm water. Do it at least once a week for better results.

 

Potato and Coconut milk for split ends:

 

In a bowl take juice of 2 potatoes, 2 tbsp of lemon juice, 2 tbsp of coconut milk and 4 tbsp of honey. Mix them well to form a paste. Apply this mask on your scalp and hair including the ends. Leave it on your hair for 30 minutes, and wash your hair using a mild shampoo. Do this twice a week to see the shine and the difference. 

 

Potato peels for grey hair:

 

Not only its juice but the peels of potatoes have been used since ages to colour fabric and hair. Boil potato peels and allow it to simmer for 25 minutes. Allow the liquid to cool and then strain it and use the liquid to rinse your hair. The potato peeling water will naturally darken your grey hair.

 

Potato and Aloe Vera for dry hair:

 

Aloe vera is filled with nutrients and is also known for its moisturising properties. Mix potato juice and aloe vera gel well and apply the mask on your scalp and hair and massage for 2-3 minutes. Let it sit for 20 minutes and wash your hair with lukewarm water. Do this once a week to restore shine to your dull dry hair.

 

Potato juice for hair growth:

 

Extract the juices from the potatoes and add one egg yolk and honey to it. Mix it well and apply the mixture on your scalp and let it stay for 30 minutes. Wash off with plain water first and then use a mild shampoo. Use this mask once a week to strengthen the hair, restore hair growth and add shine.
