Bold is now old. It's time to give those bold eyes and bold lips a rest. Let Kareena and Priyanka keep highlighting one feature because our favourite young starlets are sporting a new trend that we are obsessed with! The luminous glowing look. Their focus is now on bright, fresh and well-highlighted skin that looks a little dewy.

Applying too much makeup has become a faux pas now as everybody knows it is harmful in the long run. Thinking of it as a win-win situation, more and more new-age celebrities are opting for this luminous look while making appearances around town and thereby avoiding wrinkles, fine lines and dark spots at an early age! Their only go-to items are mascara, peachy-pink blush and a basic nude lippie
Sara Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor have been sporting this beauty trend all throughout their film promotions, and we take a good look at how to achieve this look, as well as all the other actresses who have aced it.
For Sara, it is all about looking natural. Luckily, she is blessed with clear and bright skin and to make sure she looks radiant, a light layer of illuminating powder enhances her complexion and mattifies her skin so that it doesn't end up looking too oily and makes her face glow instead.
Janhvi knows the right tones for her skin. Her cheeks are always well highlighted and make her face look like it is glowing naturally. Her secret? Pick a shade that is closest to your skin tone. She sticks to peachy silvers since her complexion is light. But if you tan easily, light gold or bronze should do the trick.
Ananya Panday joins the bandwagon by opting for glowing cheeks. The subtle shimmer on the top of her cheekbones catches the light and illuminates her skin, making her look fresh-faced, even-toned and younger than ever.
Isabelle Kaif is the new kid on the block but knows what's up! Unlike her sister - Katrina, Isa prefers to brighten her eyes, rather than go for the bold smokey look. She prefers to lightly pat highlighter on her brow-bone, chin, nose and around her eyes to ace the look and look pristine.
Finally, a part of the party that already started without them, Alia Bhatt and Shraddha Kapoor know that to ace this look and keep up with young competition, blending is key. The highlighter is supposed to make the skin look radiant but naturally. It is not meant to look like a streak of shimmer or glitter has been placed on the face.
This look doesn't seem to be going out of style any time soon as more and more actresses are attempting to recreate it. It has become a go-to look for not only attending events and parties but red carpet events too! Would you go out sporting only mascara, some lipstick and blush? Or would you want to go for the smokey eye-bold lip combo?
