Chamomile may seem like a tiny little beautiful flower but it's much more than that. It is known to have numerous skincare benefits that can work magic on your skin. It has been used for traditional medicinal purposes for years and has many benefits that most of us are unaware of. We usually turn to chamomile tea for a calming and soothing effect on our mind and body but it can do a lot more for our skin. It is known to have healing and anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties and can improve your skin quality and give you glowing skin. It also reduces acne and breakouts and the scarring and redness that comes with it due to it's antiseptic properties. It has numerous other health benefits that cannot be ignored and this powerhouse flower can be an important ingredient in your skincare routine and it can give you a flawless skin.

Here are some easy chamomile recipes for a healthy skin:

1. Mix half a cup of chamomile tea with 2 tablespoons of aloe vera gel and one tablespoon of honey. Mix it well and apply a thin layer on your face and neck. Let it stay for up to 30 minutes and then rinse with lukewarm water. All these ingredients help nourish and moisturise the skin.

2. You can also use a chamomile scrub to exfoliate your skin. Mix some chamomile tea with 2 tablespoons of oatmeal and one tablespoon of honey. Use this mixture to gently scrub your face and remove all the dirt and grime and dead skin cells.

3. Make chamomile pack with one teaspoon of freshly squeezed lemon juice and equal amounts of gram flour and then add 2 teaspoons of freshly brewed chamomile tea to the mixture and mix it well. Apply this mixture on your skin and neck and rinse it off after 20 minutes.

4. Take some almonds and grind them into a powder. Take 2 tablespoons of fine almond powder and mix it with one and a half tablespoons of chamomile oil. Make a paste and apply it on your face and neck. Let it stay for up to 30 minutes and then rinse it off with lukewarm water.
