Super easy and quick DIY home remedies for puffy under-eye bags which you can try in office

It is a sad state of affairs that our lives have extremely so busy that we barely have any time for ourselves. The social butterflies that we’ve become has led us to take very little care of our own self. Apart from our social life our work also keeps us occupied, so much so, that we just forget that there is anything to us beyond work.

A lot of stress, lack of sleep and continuously being stuck on the digital screens leaves us with under-eye bags and dark circles. Needless to say these swollen eye bags pulls down the charm of our face, makes us look older than we are and also psychologically affects our mind.

Given our busy lifestyle, puffy eyes are extremely common with almost everyone sporting it (not something to be proud of, for sure!). While, we do not have the time to get in to heavy remedies and routines, we bring to you some easy and quick DIY home remedies to cure them.

Tea bags

The easiest remedy, something that you can do it in the office as well.  Just take some green tea bags and keep it in the refrigerator. Take it out when it is cold and place it on your eyes for 15 minutes. Keep repeating this process at least twice or thrice a day for good results. Green tea helps in rejuvenating the skin and also is instrumental in decreasing the swelling and puffiness of the eye.

Coffee

Coffee is actually a multi-purpose ingredient. Take some coffee powder, mix it with a pinch of black pepper and 1 teaspoon of coconut oil. Mix it all together and apply it under your eyes. Be extra careful with the pepper. Leave it on for about 10 minutes and gently wipe it off with a cotton pad. Coffee has great anti-inflammatory properties. It helps in reducing puffiness, redness and swelling. Black pepper powder on the other hand is great to enhance blood circulation.

Cold teaspoon

Definitely the most easiest hack which provides great results. Just take your regular teaspoon and place it in the fridge. Take it out and place it on your under bags for about 20 minutes. Use this method twice a day for best results. Cold steel teaspoon helps in relaxing the blood vessels and reduce the swelling.

Cucumber

This age old method is great for the eyes. Take some cucumber slices, keep it in the fridge for a while and place it on the eyes. Leave it on for 15 minutes. Repeat it on multiple times in the day for good results. Cucumbers reduce puffiness and also helps with cooling off the eye.

Baking soda

Take 1 teaspoon of baking soda and 1 cup of hot water and soak cotton pad and place it on the swelling. Leave it on for 15 minutes and then wash your face off with cold water. Baking soda is great for promoting blood flow and also helps in reducing eye bags.

All of the remedies that we have mentioned above are super easy to execute and will give you instant results too. What’s best? You can even try this in office.
