We love experimenting with our hair every now and then. Hair colour seems to be the best way to play around with your hair and with new hair colour trends coming every other day we just can’t help but play with hair colours. But with these experiments comes the risk of making mistakes and we’ve all done it. We’ve all coloured our hair in colours that make us look weird and funny but fixing it can be a tad bit risky for our hair. Hair color causes damage to our hair and stylists believe that we should give our hair up to 8 months to heal after colour our hair. This means that re-coloring them is a risky move and bleaching too. We’ve definitely cannot live with terrible hair colour and the best way out is to use natural ingredients to remove hair colour from our hair or maybe even makes it fade a little to make things easier for us.

1. Take some freshly squeezed lemon juice and mix it with some baking soda. Lemon is a natural bleaching agent and baking soda helps soothe your hair and scalp. Baking soda helps nourish your hair and reverse the damage. Apply this mixture to your hair and leave it in for 15 to 20 minutes and then rinse off with shampoo and don’t forget to use a conditioner.

2. Epsom salt helps remove colour from your hair. Mix some Epsom salt with baking soda and a little water. Make a smooth paste and apply it thoroughly all over your hair and scalp. Leave it in for 20 to 25 minutes. Rinse it off and shampoo and condition your hair.

3. Rinsing your hair with vinegar helps remove colour from your hair. Vinegar rinse takes a while to remove hair colour. It doesn’t work immediately. You will need to rinse your hair with vinegar a number of times to fade your hair colour. Coat your hair in vinegar properly and leave it in for 5 minutes and then wash it off.

4. Crush 2 tablets of Vitamin C and mix it with some shampoo and apply it all over your hair. Cover your hair properly in the shampoo and leave it in for 5 minutes. Leaving it in for any longer may damage your hair. Rinse it for thoroughly and apply some conditioner.

5. Honey and Cinnamon are natural hair lightening agents. Both these things mixed together help bleach and lighten your hair. Mix some cinnamon powder with honey and coat your hair with this mixture and let it stay in for 15 to 20 minutes and wash it off with shampoo and conditioner.
