Kim Kardashian West @kimkardashian in a signature red Sabyasachi 'Aakash-tara' saree for Vogue India March 2018 issue @vogueindia. 28 zardosi karigars from Calcutta meticulously hand-embroidered metallic sequins and beads on 60gsm chiffon to create a modern saree using age old Indian craftsmanship. The nimble technique, though time consuming creates an extremely supple drape that has the flexibility of a chain mail. This look is a preview of our Spring-Summer 2018 Couture collection, 'Le Club De Calcutta', to be unveiled exclusively on Instagram on the 8th of March 2018 at 8pm (IST). Stay tuned. The one thing that people seem to love about the designer's creations, is that they make you feel like a masterpiece and have different styles. He seems to channel everything from nature to people (Freida Kalho) into inspiration. These unique creations make the designer desirable.

He not only designed Deepika Padukone's Sindhi wedding outfit but doubled as her stylist for the occasion as well! He truly is a man of many talents!

Sabyasachi also custom made outfits for Priyanka Chopra and Anushka Sharma for their respective weddings and ensuring they had one-of-a-kind outfits for their special big days. Save to say, the two actresses looked nothing short of royalty.

But if you think Sabyasachi creations can only be sported at weddings, the designer proves you wrong yet again. Taking a break from bright reds and pretty pinks, he opts for shades like ivory and green for a more casual and everyday look. Take a cue from Deepika Padukone, Alia Bhatt, Priyanka Chopra and more on how to look elegant and sophisticated in his creations!

Priyanka Chopra (@priyankachopra) goes India-modern for her Mumbai reception. She wears a brocade corset with a matching lehenga from our Curiosity, Art and Antiquity Project. Heritage zardosi borders are tea-stained and acid-burnt to give the outfit a period feel. Her look is accessorised with a statement Victorian necklace in rose cut and fine cut diamonds, rose cut studs and a Bohemian pile of eclectic bangles from the Sabyasachi Heritage Jewelry collection. With his almost-magical touch, he switches easily from simple to edgy, leaving one stunned and wondering if he is indeed the same person behind both the drastically different styles.

As a nod to the swinging ’60s, Anushka Sharma (@anushkasharma) wears a cocktail saree finely hand-embroidered with French knots, hand-cut brass sequins and crystals in colours of sepia-tinted sea-foam. Her pallu is decadently fringed with semi-precious stones. The outfit is accessorised with a statement '60s choker, hand-crafted in old-mine Zambian emeralds, rose cut and brilliant cut diamonds. Her earrings are made of unusual leaf-shaped, old-mine Colombian emeralds girdled with brilliant cut diamonds. The designer also expanded and started his own jewellery line! The intricate designs and gorgeous stones make for stunning additions to every girl's wardrobe.

Kudos to the designer and our hearty congratulations on 20 years of his brand!

Kangana

Sabya and manish are the most over rated Indian designers. Gaudy and tacky are the words that come to mind. Sabya was an original and god before he decided to sell out and jump on Bollywood train. There are much better designers in India then these two.

Deepika and anushka only can rock sabya outfits
