For some, it is the month of love but for us, it is the month of fashion With the Paris Haute Couture Week 2018 concluding and the New York Fashion Week starting there is so much fashion everywhere. Mix fashion and dreams, and what do you get? Haute couture, of course! Couture is basically like a dream coming to life, all your dreams and fantasies coming to life in beautiful clothes that look almost like magic. In case you missed catching onto the highlights of the show then there is a glimpse at all that went down Paris Spring Haute Couture Week 2018.

The collection of Dior had everything from airy dresses featuring surrealist cage motifs and optical illusions of embellishment, a graphic palette of black and white, to the slickest black tuxedo tailoring, puzzle-like piecing in cashmere meets mismatched stiff stripes, Dior gave us a chance to immerse ourselves in the most lust-worthy looks from the Spring-Summer 2018 collection.

Elie Saab:

With freedom of movement and redefined graceful lines in mind, Elie Saab created the Haute Couture Spring-Summer 2018 pieces. From semi-divulging necklines, rich feathery bouquets to shimmering sequins Elie Saab's collection sure did steal the show.

Floral hues that oscillate between pastel tones and hints of saturated pink ornate brocades of feathers, laces and flashes of tulle was what the Chanel Haute Couture collection was all about.

Giambattista Valli:

Giambattista Valli bought ruffles and volume into their collection, heavy volumes of ruffled tulle, velvet and organza were the key elements of this Haute Couture collection. Supersize volumes in dresses stole the show and then there were also subdued pieces such as sculptural chiffon gowns, floral bud appliques and jewel tones.

Grace and dignity were brought back to the evening wear arena with Givenchy's collection. From gunmetal silver, gowns hung with jet or crystal beads and tiered dresses that would look great in motion the Givenchy Haute Couture collection was for the woman who deserves to carve out her place in modern haute couture.

Iris van Herpen:

It was almost like Iris van Herpen collection said 'welcome to the future'. A silk changeant organza,  invisible silk tulle, mylar and velvet were the highlights of Iris van Herpen collection. They featured laser-cut and wire-bonded designs creating a voluminous slow motion splash. Soft three-dimensional leaf-like patterns Nude leather and liquid fabrics were seen on the runway too.

Maison Margiela:

Dressing in haste was the vision of the last Spring-Summer 2018 Show established by Maison Margiela. Soft, cosy and unique, the Glam Slam takes the shape of a pillow as part of the season inspiration.

Zuhair Murad:

Paying homage to the craftsmanship of an array of ancient tribes, Zuhair Murad presented it's Haute Couture collection. models were seen walking down the runway in a white sheer kaftan with fringes and cascades of crystals embroidered in shapes of arrowheads, feathers and geometric symbols.

Ralph & Russo:

The statement winning piece being an acid green silk gazar trench, featuring jewelled buttons and devoré ostrich feather appliqué embellished with crystal clusters. Ralph & Russo's Spring Summer 2018 Collection was an amalgamation of silk chiffon draped gowns, coral silk chiffon off-the-shoulder gown, pleated skirts, 3D organza petals and peach ombré fringed sleeves and asymmetric capes.
