Kangana Ranaut's fashion and style never fails to grab attention and eyeballs. She has sported some of the most iconic outfits both on home ground and on international waters. The actress has always spoken of her love for ethnic and Indian outfits and designs. She too is celebrating the day by celebrating the art! She talks about how we too can save an age-old craft by being conscious and considerate. "I always try and promote ancient art and handicrafts on an Indian as well as International scale. But, it's sad that a style that describes India and its richness is dying," she says about the art which is losing its value causing weavers to lose their jobs.

Kangana took the saree to an international platform by sporting a gold Kanjeevaram with a matching corset and strapless blouse. Taking things up a notch, she sported deep purple gloves with her saree giving it a colonial twist.

She showed us how to look sizzling despite wearing something so covered up. Ranaut's backless blouse is the best way to take a simple and sophisticated outfit and make it sexy!

For a more toned down and minimal look, take cue from the way she styled this ivory saree with a long trail and a simple sleeveless blouse which matched her drape. She accessorised her look in a minimal way with a simple neckpiece, juttis and matching earrings.

The outfit is extremely feminine in itself but Kangana took things up a notch by sporting a saree in the prettiest shell pink shade and paired it with a dark green blouse. The shell style hemline added a stylish touch to the outfit.

Pinstripe lines became a raging trend with casual western outfits and never seemed to leave. Styling a similar printed saree in a classy grey shade and styling it with a chic handbag, loafers, a jacket and dark rimmed sunnies.

Kangana also understands that the saree is technically the simplest thing a woman can drape and still look absolutely gorgeous. She looked absolutely stunning in a simple white saree with a golden border that she draped over a simple white sleeveless blouse. Completing her chic outfit were her Lennon glasses and a milennial pink Dior bag.

The saree is also one of the most glamorous outfits a woman can wear. Kangana Ranaut looked regal in a gold saree that she accessorised with a large gold choker statement neckpiece. Her voluminous locks were pinned at the back ensuring she looked elegant as ever!

Clearly, Kangana is one who can drape the simple saree and make it look glamorous as hell or keep it as simple as she wants. Are you inspired to style your 9-yards? Which of her styles is your favourite? Comment below and let us know.
