The Folk-Bohemian style is no new name to the fashion fraternity. Also known as modern folk, this trend, garnering all the love in recent years, features traditional prints, embroidery, fabrics in a simple yet contemporary silhouette. Inspired from the ’70s fashion, the folk-bohemian style seeks traditional elements’ help to bring out delicate details in creating an impression that never fades. Be it in classic black or with a thrash of vibrant colours, our queens of Bollywood is embracing the modern folk trend in an intensive elegance that we can’t say no to!

Scroll down to see how the stars have perfected the style of folk-bohemian.

Kriti Sanon got our jaws dropped to the floor in awe in her Shivan and Narresh ensemble. Flaunting the Hututi sheer orient skein work cape, tiered skirt and the crescent skein belt, the actress got the boho vibe brilliantly right. She paired her look with a chunky necklace, funky bangles and juttis from Needle Dust. The intense dramatic eyes, pink lips and textured wavy hair elevated the style game in the picture.

Bhumi Pednekar aces the Payal Singhal co-ord set like a diva. She stylized her look with an oxidised choker and matching funky earrings to balance the pop of blue in her palazzo pants, jacket and crop top. The actress vibed the folk-boho in style with partially pinned wavy hair!

Tara Sutaria’s eclectic taste in fashion has come a really long way! She rocked the boho look in earthy-hued, ikat-printed village belle skirt with the balloon sleeved wrap crop from Verb. The Indian and western elements gave a modern twist to her look. Creating a loud impact with utmost minimalism, she wrapped up the look with a pair of silver dangles and bright orange heels.

Sara Ali Khan’s recent picture from Maldivas paints an exotic extravaganza in the mildness of Maldivian blues. The Shivan and Narresh co-ord set features prints of ordinary elements to a realm of fantastical psychedelia that makes us travel through a mystical maze. Embracing the whole essence of folk-boho, the actress nailed the printed multi-coloured bralette and matching long skirt with a side slit.

Tracing Indian ethnic route in a pink and bottle green striped Sabyasachi kurta, Sonam Kapoor gets the modern folk trend right. The kurta featured a plunging neckline, full sleeves and intricate embroidery work all- along its bodice. She relegated heels for strappy sandals and completed her look with a regal choker, matching jhumkas and stacked bangles.
