It has been four weeks since the birth of baby Sussex. Parents, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been gleaming with happiness ever since. The royal couple was last seen at Trooping the colour this weekend. It was the first time that the Duchess stepped out in public post giving birth to the royal baby. But where was baby Archie?

Apparently, Meghan was with Archie for the majority of the trooping day, but when she and Prince Harry had to join the rest of the family for the parade, she obviously left him behind.

Now she is adjusting to her new life as a mom, and apparently, part of that is adopting an incredibly refreshing post-baby workout routine.


According to royal expert Katie Nicholl, Meghan is somebody who likes being fit. But clearly, she is not in a rush to do that so early after birth. She’s reportedly taking time to focus on baby Archie.


Nicholl also told ET, “She has been taking it easy, and  I hear that yoga is very much on her post-birth fitness regime, nothing too strenuous.”


Well, it is easy for Meghan since her mother, Doria is a yoga instructor. She reportedly took up postpartum yoga and baby yoga specifically so she could teach Meghan. This has definitely made up the majority of Meghan's fitness routine since having Archie.


"That's all Meghan has been doing," Nicholl said. "And lots of proud walks around Windsor Great Park, so gentle exercise, but no hard training, no weights. She's apparently not in any hurry to ping back into shape. She's enjoying this time. She's being gentle to herself."


We appreciate the fact that Meghan is enjoying her time as a new mother and giving herself some time to breathe.

"As I say, the whole approach has been holistic; it has been gentle," Nicholl added. "It's been a natural embracing of motherhood, and with that has come a pretty gentle routine....Meghan hasn't been hitting the gym. She hasn't been in any hurry to get back in shape. It's only four weeks really since the birth and she's been taking that exercise regime very gently indeed."


Well, we are loving that she is not rushing to get in shape like a lot of new moms do these days. Spending quality time with the bab and giving yourself the time to recover is the best route to go. Way to go Meghan!!
