Mira Rajput opted for a yellow Anita Dongre saree & purple Jayanti Reddy lehenga for a wedding; Yay or Nay?
The star wife looked regal in both the monotone outfits for her best friend's wedding in Delhi recently. Take a look at her outfits.
The one time when we're excited to dress up in our ethnic best and step out is for weddings. Last year saw very few weddings take place due to the pandemic. But once the restrictions were lifted, people couldn't wait to tie the knot! Not just us, celebrities too attended several weddings during this season, sporting the latest trends and giving us inspiration on what to wear for the weddings we attend.
One among them was Mira Rajput Kapoor.
The diva attended her best friend, Sejal Kukreja's wedding in Delhi last week where she seemed like she was having the time of her life! The mother-of-two sported two heavy-duty looks perfect for an Indian wedding at the venue. Mira picked out a regal purple lehenga by designer Jayanti Reddy for her BFF's nuptials. The silk lehenga featured delicate gold embroidery on the blouse and a matching skirt with gold detailing on the border. For a contrasting effect, Mira draped a bright red dupatta over her gold lehenga and completed the look with a bright red potli. A simple polki necklace acted as the statement piece of jewellery to her look.
The 26-year-old also kept it bright and trendy in the capital city by picking out a sunshine yellow saree by Anita Dongre. This outfit featured horizontal stripes along the material and flowering bouquets around its hemline. She paired this with a simple yellow blouse with a plunging neckline and colourful blue potli.
We love both of Mira's monotone looks for the wedding and she's given us ample inspiration on the outfits we need to pick for the next few weddings we attend!
