This year’s fashion scene has been proving that there’s nothing more chic and sleek than sheer fabrics and risqué garbs. Undisputedly it has become a favourite among fashion’s popular names. See-through looks the best when they're in a full-length silhouette while a sheer mini skirt would leave almost too little to the imagination. Whereas, an outfit with longer hemlines will work the best as it gives enough of a glimpse to be sexy without giving everything away.

Some of our top celebrities love to be demure with their fashion choices and whereas others are all in to take risks with their garments they were down the red carpet. From Kendall Jenner to Ashley Graham and Jennifer Lopez, as well as Kristin Cavallari at the 2019 Golden Globes, Hollywood A-listers have worn just about everything! Take a look at some of our celebrities who completely nailed the trend for some inspiration.

Kendall Jenner

Kendall has always been on top while sporting trends like a diva. At the Cannes premiere of ‘Girls of the Sun’ last year, the 22-year old made sure all eyes were on her as she took to the red carpet in a sheer tiered tulle dress by Schiaparelli. Jenner’s frilly attire was gathered at the waist with a white belt. The chic garb had elaborate shoulder details of frills which ran all the way down the flowing skirt. She tied her hair up to show off the stunning earrings she donned.

Naomi Campell

Naomi Campell closed the Valentino Spring 2019 haute couture show with a sheer surprise! The runway legend made an unexpected walk down the ramp in a Pierpaolo Piccioli designer sheer black gown. The attire featured rows of ruffles on a drop-waist gown and a turtleneck top that was completely sheer. Big, bold sleeves added some spark, but there's no taking away from the fact that Campell was on full display in the design.

Bella Hadid

At her first Victoria’s Secret show in 2016, Bella wore a silver beaded gown with a plunging neckline to the after parties. The model seemed super comfortable posing in this see-through number.

Jennifer Lopez

Jennifer Lopez is the undisputed queen of red carpets, standing out and stealing everyone’s attention with everything she wears. At the Latin Music Billboard Awards 2017, J.Lo wore this extreme black cut-out dress. Hands down, she looked incredible with her hair sleeked back and nude makeup.

The Bad Girl wore striking custom Adam Selman fishnet dress, on which the designer hand-placed more than 230,000 Swarovski crystals, at the 2014 CFDA awards. Peopled went on criticising this look of Rihanna’s all year along. But of course, the singer did not give a world’s care! Rihanna accessorised the outfit with a faux fur scarf, heads scarf and a pair of gloves were embellished as well.

Kristin Cavallari

For her Golden Globes gown, Kristin decided to wear a turned heads in a strategically sheer gold dress which offered flashes of flesh between the shimmering beading. The 32 year old star  showed off her svelte figure with a dress by designer Amen which featured sparkling mesh atop her cleavage, balanced with long sleeves and a floor-length skirt.
