After the entire trend of ruffled clothing outfits broke out, it has now been adopted in the classic indian sarees. If you are looking forward to buying a saree, the ruffled saree is a must-have for the season. The ethnic six yard outfit is taken a notch higher with trendy ruffles. These ruffle sarees are perfect for any occasion. You can drape it simply or style it with heavy jewellery for a more elaborated look.

For all the millenials out there, the ruffled saree is an easy way to slay all the traditional functions in style. To be a little sneaky, a new version of the pre-stitched saree pallu is a great save. For an element of style, a waist belt is an added bonus to amp up the outfit.

You can pair your saree with your favourite peplum shirt or a long blouse for a more Indo-Western look.

Our B-town diva’s have already rocked the new saree. Shilpa Shetty being the queen of the classic sarees has already banked a couple of looks in the ruffled number. We now have a lot of outfit ideas to take style cues from.

Shilpa Shetty pairs her ruffle saree with a short skirt underneath for a Diwali party.

The Dabang actress, Sonakshi Sinha wore an Arpita Mehta sheer creation. Miss Sinha pairs her ruffle saree with a red corset blouse. She kept the look simple with long earrings and nude makeup.

Esha Gupta pairs her simple saree with a heavily embellished blouse. She balances her look with soft curls and long earrings.

We absolutely love the new saree trend. What are your thoughts about it?
