When the first couple of Bollywood throws a Diwali bash, everyone shows up. The most glamorous stars were in attendance at SRK and Gauri's residence last night for their big Diwali bash.

Here's a break down on who wore what.

1. Kareena Kapoor Khan in Anamika Khanna

The Begum of Bollywood, Kareena Kapoor Khan, looked like royalty in a black and gold Anamika Khanna look. Her look included an embroidered crop top and gold antique embroidery lehenga skirt, which she styled with an ivory embroidered organza dupatta, which she wore as a cape. Danging Sunita Shekhawat earrings and hair worn in a low bun with tendrils of hair framing her face rounded her look out.

2. Alia Bhatt in Shyamal and Bhumika

Alia Bhatt chose to wear an all black look in a simple choli and floral embroidered lehenga by design duo Shyamal and Bhumika. She paired her look with a black stripe beaded dupatta, tiered jhumkas and hair worn sleek in a centre part.

3. Shraddha Kapoor in Koecsh

Also wearing black was Shraddha Kapoor, in a black ensemble by Koecsh  by Kresha Bajaj. Her look included an intricately embroidered crop top with a draped black skirt and a sheer organza cape. A pair of diamond and emerald earnings and flawless make up is how she finished her look out.

4. Jacqueline Fernandez in Arpita Mehta

The lovely Jacqueline Fernandez wore a lilac sheer saree by Arpita Mehta which was teamed with a beaded blouse. What interesting about her look was the lace hem at the bottom, which kinda looked awkward to me. A pair of silver earrings and hair worn in soft curls rounded her look out.

5. Kajol in Faabiiana

Kajol wore a salmon pink anarkali by Faabiiana, which she had styled with a potli bag, ruby earrings and hair worn in a low bun.

6. Vidya Balan in Punit Balana

Wearing an olive green silk anarkali by Punit Balana, Vidya Balan was also in attendance. The look was styled with a printed dupatta and dainty earrings.

7. Karisma Kapoor in Manish Malhotra

Karisma Kapoor wore a blue and white embroidered saree by her BFF Manish Malhotra for the party. She punctuated her look with a sling bag and casually tousled hair.

8. Shilpa Shetty in Manish Malhotra

For Shilpa Shetty, it was strapless top and sharara pants by Manish Malhotra. She wore a yellow dupatta across her body and cinched it at her waist with a belt. A choker necklace and cascading curls rounded her look out.

9. Katrina Kaif in Sabyasachi

Also wearing black was Katrina Kaif was Sabyasachi in a Sabyasachi saree. Her saree was teamed with a plunging neckline, lace sleeve blouse and stud earrings. She looked stunning!

Who do you think looked the best?

Alia Shilpa Katrina Shraddha are the best dressed one's

Jacqueline and shraddha look best. Others look simply awful

LOL, I am all into women wearing what they want, but I also believe in being appropriate! I just dont get the point of so much of skin show on this traditional festival especially all the younger ones who still may live at is appropriate dressing like this front of your fathers and uncles....what's the point of cleavage...go to the beach or the club or some other appropriate party and show as much skin you want....

Why does Kajo look so much lighter than she used to!?

Katrina, kareena

Can’t help but saying, how come very few wore bright colours..Diwali is the festival of light and bright colours. I thought it was a dress code to wear black seeing most in that colour attire, however others have worn pale colours too..

deffo karisma hands down the most beautiful star kid

Kareena, Alia and Katrina were stunning. Karishma is so beautiful but did not like her saree. Kajol looked very sweet.

katrina, kajol and kareena looked the best
