It's very simple to break into the 'working girl' look. Just wear a boring black suit, and you're done. But that's not enough for today's working woman. The power suit is back in full swing and our favourite leading B-town ladies are showing us different ways to sport it. From the 80's checkered look to an ultra-feminine look, there is always one that each girl can carry off and in full swing!
Crop it up
Whether it is cropped pants or a cropped top to sport under the blazer, it makes for a fun and playful look. For a look inside the office, the blazer can be buttoned for a more demure look and it can double as night look once the blazer is off outside work!
A pop of retro
Bring in the 90s in full swing! Go for a head-to-toe polka dotted look and amp it up with a waist belt to show off your trim and slim figure.
Shorten things up
A shorter version of the classic 90s suit is sure to get heads turning and eyes popping! Pait you checkered blazer with a matching mini skirt or thigh-high shorts to show off your toned legs. Pair it with pantyhose for a more formal look at the workplace and you are good to go!
Go bold
Take notes from fashion icon Sonam Kapoor- a risk taker who can make statements with her outfits. This big pattern blazer and matching skirt made sure she looked presentable at a formal setting. Her knee-length black blazer only proved that she was ready for business!
A slinky look for a night out
True, suits were initially meant for work, but who says you can't have a little fun with them once in a while? For an unexpected and sexy look, style it with a bra in a contrasting colour, instead of a shirt or top!
Monochrome madness
Go bold or go home! Pick a bright colour and wear it head-to-toe the way Diana Penty does. For extra oomph, wear stilettoes in a lighter shade!
Print on print
Yes, you might be wearing a suit, but who says you can't channel your inner feminine queen? Take notes from Janhvi Kapoor and rock a floral pantsuit with confidence.
Jacqueline too knows how to turn this menswear piece into a feminine one. Grunge gold print on black makes her look like a royal who is down to do business!
Borrow it from your man
Shilpa's oversized blazer makes it look like her suit was picked right out of her husband's wardrobe. She spells out sexy in this outfit by buttoning the blazer and not wearing a shirt or top under. Her silver accessories are the perfect addition to cover up her plunging neckline.
