Every woman needs some ethnic ornaments in her wardrobe. We obviously cannot pair our desi looks with the same old western jewelry. Plus we've grown up watching our mothers wear amazing ethnic ornaments that are just hard to dislike. Just like our moms we too want a jewelry box full of tradition jewelry for every occasion. But it's not possible to invest in too many traditional pieces because they don't come cheap. Even the imitation jewelry is a little on the pricey side if we want something long-lasting. If you're looking for some versatile pieces that you can invest in and pair with nearly all of your ethnic wardrobe you're found the right place for the perfect advice. Every woman needs a few traditional must-have pieces in her wardrobe.

Here are the must-have we all need.

1. Chandbali

A chandbali is of one the most beautiful earring pattern that every woman needs. It can be paired with anything and everything. It's the perfect statement earring for when you want to avoid wearing a necklace. An imitation Kundan chandbali and an oxidized chandbali are an essential part of a woman's traditional wardrobe.

2. Jhumka

Jhumkas are the oldest and prettiest jewelry piece that we all want to own. A pair of nice heavy statement jhumkas can amp up your look like nothing else. Invest in a nice pair of gold and silver colored jhumkas and possibly a pair of imitation kundan jhumkas as well. You can never go wrong with the right pair of jhumkas.

3. Statement Neckpiece

A statement neckpiece is very important for a desi look. When you go with something that puts a lot of focus on your neck and skip out on a neckpiece your outfit may look incomplete and empty. But if you have a statement neckpiece it will make you stand out without any trouble. An imitation Kundan choker neckpiece or an oxidized choker neckpiece maybe the perfect piece for your wardrobe.

4. Bracelet or Bangles

You cannot have a complete tradition look if your wrists are empty. Every traditional look calls for a nice set of bangles or an ethnic bracelet. You can pick a multi-purpose set of bangles in silver and in gold and if you don't like bangles pick a set of silver and gold bracelets to go with your look. Every woman also needs to own a set of Kundan bracelets for when you may need it.

5. Nose Ring

If you have a nose piercing you may want to invest in a good quality statement nose ring in gold and silver for every occasion. And if you don't have a piercing but still fancy nose rings you can invest in a press on nath or clip-on nose rings as per your style and comfort.

6. Maang Tika

While this may seem like a tad bit too much, a maang tika can make for a great statement piece. It takes your traditional outfit up a notch so, you definitely need to invest in a classy maang tika or matha patti.

Jewelry to me either you like it or you don't. If it can be afforded. Wear it with that outfit to make it shine.
