One of the popular kinds of teas is green tea. It has several health benefits like aiding weight loss, cleansing the body and keeping cardiovascular diseases at bay. So we have for you some chilled and refreshing green tea recipes to try at home. 

 

 

Mint Tea

 

Boil 1 cup of water in a pan. To this, add ½ tsp sugar, 3 tsp green tea and a handful of washed and chopped mint leaves. Let it brew for 1-2 minutes and then strain and pour into a glass. Add 2-3 ice cubes and serve.

 

Lemon Ginger tea

 

Add 2 tbsp green tea to 1 cup of boiling water. Steep it for 2-3 minutes. In another pan, boil ½ cup water and add ½ tbsp lemon juice, 2 tbsp grated ginger and 1 tsp sugar. Stir for 2 minutes and then strain. Add this prepared lemon-ginger mixture to the green tea pan. Cook for a minute and then strain it. Pour into a glass and add 2-3 cubes of ice.

 

Iced Green tea

 

Pour 1 cup of water into a pan and remove it from heat once it comes to a boil. Add 2 green tea bags to it. Let it brew for 3-4 minutes. Squeeze half a lemon into this and add ½ tsp sugar. Pour into a glass and top with some ice cubes.

 

 

Cucumber Strawberry Green tea

 

Boil 1 cup of water in a pan and add 2 tbsp of green tea. Brew for 4 minutes and then strain. Transfer this into a glass jar and add 1 cup of water, 1 sliced cucumber, 3 sliced strawberries and a handful of mint leaves. Mix well and refrigerate for an hour. Strain the tea and pour it into a glass. Add 2-3 ice cubes and serve chilled.
