Noodles are the solution to every problem. They are easy to cook and come in a variety of sizes and thicknesses. Many dishes can be made in a jiffy with different types of noodles and that are perfect to perk up a dull day!


From pad thai to soba to udon, we have for you some delicious and simple noodle recipes that you can easily make with everyday ingredients and pamper your tastebuds with rich and enticing flavours. 

Chilli Garlic Noodles


Put some noodles in boiling water along with some salt and strain them once cooked. In a wok, add some chopped french beans, carrots and cabbage along with some sliced onions in chilli oil. Blend 4-5 dry red chillies and 3-4 cloves of garlic to make a paste and add this paste to the wok. Add the noodles and pour some soy sauce. Mix well and serve hot. 


Sesame Soba Noodles


Cook 300 grams of soba noodles in boiling water for 2-3 minutes and then strain. Heat some oil in a pan and add some chopped onions, carrots, cabbage, bell peppers (red and yellow), garlic and ginger. Add some toasted sesame seeds, lime juice, red chilli flakes and noodles. Stir and serve.



Pad Thai Noodles


Soak 200 grams of pad thai noodles in water for 5-7 minutes and then drain the water. Keep aside. Heat some oil in a pan and add some chopped garlic, red chillies, onions and red and yellow bell peppers. Now add the noodles, 1 tbsp soy sauce, 1 tsp red chilli paste, ½ tsp brown sugar and salt to taste. Mix well and serve hot.


Udon Noodles


Boil udon noodles in a pot full of water and keep aside after straining. In a pan, add 1 cup sliced mushrooms, 2 cups chopped onions and 2-3 chopped bok choy in olive oil. To this, add 2 tbsp soy sauce, 1 tsp brown sugar, ½ tsp vinegar and 1 tsp oyster sauce. Add the noodles and mix well.


Noodle Salad


Boil some noodles in water and drain it after 2-3 minutes. In a bowl, add some chopped carrots, ginger and garlic. Add 1 tbsp of honey, ½ tsp of peanut butter and 1 tsp soy sauce and rice vinegar. Add the noodles and toss. Sprinkle some cilantro on top and serve.
