What to do: Mix 2-3 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar in a glass of lukewarm water.

Drink up this mixture before heading to bed. Start doing this exactly one week before your actual period date.

Lemon

As it contains citric acid, lemon helps you push your period dates.

What to do: Keep sucking on the lemon juice or chew a piece to still the flow. You may consume the lemon sap with some water too. Start this at least a week before.

Chia seeds

Chia seeds are fully packed with soluble fibre which not only helps you delay your periods but also helps in maintaining an excellent digestive system.

What to do: Soak some chia seeds in a glass of water and leave it overnight. Consume this water first thing in the morning on an empty stomach. You can add some honey or sugar to enhance the taste. Start drinking this solution 6-7 days before your actual period dates.

Raspberry leaves

Apart from making your reproductive system stronger and healthier, raspberry leaves can delay your menstruation without any side effects.

What to do: Soak a few sun-dried raspberry leaves in water and boil it for ten minutes to prepare a tea from it. Sip this tea 2-3 times a day for a week (before the period date) to get effective result.

French beans

French beans are mentioned for its ability to delay the periods and in reducing the flow. They are rich in calcium and can also help in keeping the period cramps at bay.

What to do: Boil a cup of French beans in 100 ml water for 3-4 minutes. Strain the solution and add some lemon juice into the water. Consume this mixture 5 days before your menstrual date.
