Do you want a fancy and exotic dish that takes minutes to prepare and hardly requires any cooking? Burritos are the perfect dish for a casual get-together or a house party. They are easy to prepare and are made with a variety of vegetables. They are light on the stomach and are a healthy and nutritious snack. 

A burrito is a flour tortilla wrapped around ingredients like beans, onions, tomatoes, chillies, etc. So here is a simple and quick recipe for you to try, to make mouth-watering burritos at home in just 5 steps and impress your guests with this delicious Mexican delicacy. 

Step 1

Take 3 cups rajma and soak it overnight. Boil it the next day and mash the rajma after straining the water. 

Step 2

In a pan, heat some oil and add 1 medium-sized finely chopped onion. Now add the mashed kidney beans and stir. Add 2 tbsp tomato puree, 3 tbsp tomato ketchup, and some salt according to taste. 

Step 3

For preparing the sauce, take a handful of dry red chillies along with some chopped onions and tomatoes and saute these in oil for a minute. Add some salt in it and blend it to make the sauce. 

Step 4

In a bowl, mix 1 cup maize flour, ½ refined flour, a pinch of salt, and some water to make the dough for the tortilla. Give it the shape of chapati and cook it on a pan on high heat.

Step 5

Take the tortilla and spread some sour cream on it. Now add the prepared beans mixture and pour the sauce over it. Wrap the tortilla tightly and serve.
