Peanut butter and banana sandwich

Getting late for work and haven’t had your breakfast? This sandwich is just for you then. If you have a sweet tooth and love peanut butter then just blindly opt for this sandwich. All you need is whole wheat bread, peanut butter, sliced bananas and blueberries. Toast the bread slices and spread the peanut butter over it. Top them up with bananas, blueberries or any fruit of your choice. You can also add honey but that is completely up to you. This sandwich contains just 400 calories. 

 

 

Tomato mozzarella sandwich 

Everyone loves their portion of cheese and busting some major myths, it is not always unhealthy if eaten in the right proportions. Take 2 slices of bread, spread a bit of butter on both slices. Now top it with tomato slices and mozzarella. You can also add blanched aubergine or spinach. Season it with salt, pepper and chilli flakes and toast the sandwich. You can also bake the sandwich for which you have to spread a bit of olive oil on the oven tray. This sandwich only contains 410 calories. 

 

Grilled chicken sandwich

This one literally makes the mouth water instantly. This combination contains fibers, nutrients and about 500 calories. Grill some chicken until it is cooked through. Toast two slices of bread and spread some butter or olive oil on it. Place the chicken piece, veggies of your choice like onions, tomatoes, mushrooms and season it with salt and pepper. 

 

 

Grilled cheese with mushrooms

The epic combination of cheese and mushrooms wins our hearts instantly. However, this is not the typically greasy and weighty sandwich. The grilled cheese with mushroom sandwich ideally consists of about 300 calories. Bake and flavour your mushrooms the way you want. It could be in butter with some garlic, salt and pepper or simply blanched. On both slices of bread spread some butter, add the mushrooms and grate some cheese over it. Toast the sandwich and serve it hot with some ketchup or mayonnaise. 

 

 

Egg sandwich

This one is loaded with proteins and nutrients. Cook a nice fluffy egg. You can add chopped onions, green chillies, salt, pepper and red chilli powder to it. Take two slices of bread, apply some olive oil on it, add the omelette, place onion slices and add some mayonnaise. Toast the sandwich and serve hot.
