I remember watching an episode of popular reality show Big Boss, where once the model and actress- Gauahar Khan was meditating when Ajaz Khan asked her why was she meditating and she replied saying that it helps control her hair fall. 

I was appalled by knowing about this unusual way of keeping your hair healthy. Well, upon doing more research I found out that even your good old "oil champee" or "tail maalish" (head messages) are a form of yoga as well. Not just flexibility and physical fitness, yoga also helps you look more beautiful. 1. Kapalbhati Pranayama

Breathing right is the first step to getting healthy skin! Shilpa Shetty has been advocating Kapalbhati since years and just 15 minutes of this exercise every day gives a beautiful glow to your skin. Here is how you can do Kapalbhati pranayama.


2. Uttanasana and Shirshasana

Forward bending poses such as this one make blood flow into the face faster, bringing with it oxygen and other helpful nutrients that fight free radicals, encourage skin cell renewal, and give your face a rosy glow.

This asana gives your face a healthy glow by reversing the blood circulation so that it is from toe to head. Doing this regularly helps keep your skin wrinkle-free.

3. Utkatasana 

Challenging poses like this one make the heart beat faster, increasing the circulation of blood flow throughout the body and prompting the skin to sweat out impurities.


4. Vajrasana (Thunderbolt Pose)

Most skin troubles are caused due to stomach problems. A dirty tummy shows up on your skin. Turn to Vajrasana. It helps get rid of stomach problems such as constipation, fight stomach disorder and promote blood circulation in the body.
