Travelling with friends while singing your favourite songs is the best thing ever. Exploring places together, while capturing each others embarrassing moments is something that makes our trip all the more special. But do you know that travelling solo at times is a good option too? And here are a few reasons why we think travelling solo at least once is a good idea and should be experienced by everyone.

You'll interact more with locals:

When you travel solo, you focus only on travel and hence when you don't understand anything about that place, you immediately ask a local about it. You tend to understand more about the culture by interacting with locals and others who are not directly related to you.

Travelling solo builds confidence:

You are scared at first, but once you get comfortable with the idea of travelling solo, you start enjoying the trip. Initially, it takes you a while to figure out where you are or what you are doing, but taking care of yourself in such situations gives you a new sense of confidence and faith in your own resourcefulness.

You can change plans as per your convenience:

When we travel in a group, we explore places as a group. Amid this changing plans can also lead to conflicts at times. But when you travel alone, you can make a decision and move on. You can decide where to eat, where to stay, and so on. And this sense of freedom makes travel much more fun.

You learn more about yourself:

When you travel solo you venture out into the world on your own. You eventually learn more about yourself, understand your weaknesses, and strengths, and improve with your actions. Yes, travelling with friends is fun but travelling alone you might find yourself. It helps you discover more about what makes you, you.

Freedom:

When you travel solo you have the freedom to decide and plan things as per your convenience. You can do what you want at a budget you can afford. More than that, you don't have to depend on anyone's likes and dislikes, it's all about you and your preferences.

You live in the moment:

Last but not least, you live in the moment, and enjoy one place at a time, without hushing to the next spot. You can sit back and enjoy the beauty and experience the magic of the place.

So what are you waiting for? GO plan your first solo trip now!
