What is New Year’s without friends and some delicious cocktails? If you are looking forward to throwing the perfect house party, these cocktail recipes will come in handy to get your friends a little tipsy.
Don’t get carried away with name, WOO WOO is as simple as it’s name. All you need is 50ml vodka, 25 ml peach schnapps, 100ml cranberry juice and a lot of crushed ice. All you have to do is shake it really well, then strain into a tumbler with extra ice, garnish with a wedge of lime. To save a lot of time, you can easily make it in a large jar.
The Screwdriver is quite simply only vodka and orange juice. There is no mystery or secret ingredients! All you need to do is pour a shot of vodka and fill your glass with the ‘OG’ OJ,that’s it. So if you are the lazy one, this is the drink for you.
Lemon Drop Martini
If you want to make a lemon drop martini, you need to know how to make the simple syrup. Just like the name suggests, the staple cocktail sweetener, consists simply of equal-parts granulated sugar and water.
Now to make a lemon drop martini, you simply need to mix is 44 ml vodka with 22 ml lemon juice and 10 ml of simple syrup that you just made. For a fancy presentation, strain into a chilled cocktail glass and garnish with the lemon twist.
And voila, you are ready to go!
Nothing pairs surprisingly better with bourbon than cool crushed ice and refreshing mint leaves. If you can't find pre-crushed ice, it's worth it to smash some up with a stick in a plastic bag. Mix 5 to 7 mint leaves with 15 ml simple syrup and approximately 60 ml of Bourbon with loads of crushed ice. This is the perfect choice of cocktail if you are tired from your day at work and just want to enjoy the New year’s eve.
If you are at a party with your girlfriends, this cocktail is a perfect pink. You just need 40 ml vodka, 50ml apple juice, 1 tsp lemon juice, 1 tsp maple syrup and lots of ice. Take a shaker and shake all the ingredients until the outside of it feels really cold. Strain into a martini glass and garnish with a slice of apple.
