There are a lot of people who just cannot drink the required amounts of water because even the thought of gulping it down their throat is a bit too much for them. Plain water can sometimes be too bland for taste, so here we have a few infused water recipes to quench that thirst as well as soothe hose taste buds. These recipes are easy and convenient when you are on the go. 

 

COCONUT | BERRIES

This is the sweetest and the best way to detox the body while also aiding in the weight loss process. All you need is: 

1 cup organic blueberries

1 cup organic blackberries

6 cups spring or filtered water

2 cups unsweetened organic coconut water

1-gallon clean glass jar with lid

Start by cutting the berries in half and gently squish them a little. Put it in the glass jar and add coconut water to it. Top it off with 6 cups of water and store it in the fridge for a few hours. Over the course of time, the sweetness in the berries will be extracted by the water while the flavour of coconut will just help your taste buds.

 

STRAWBERRY | BASIL 

This is perfect for who like sweetness with a bit of mint. You will need:

3 basil leaves, roughly chopped

1 strawberry, sliced

Ice

Water

Slice your strawberries into thin slices. Add it to the jar and combine it with chopped basil leaves. Add water and ice and you are good to go!

 

BERRIES | LEMON

2 cups organic raspberries

8 cups of filtered water

1 large organic lemon, cut into half-inch slices

1-gallon clean glass jar with lid

Place raspberries or blueberries at the bottom of your jar. Gently crush it a little with a spoon to release its juices. Add lemon slices to it and fill the rest of the jar with water. Leave it out for a few hours for the flavours to mix. 

 

PINEAPPLE | GINGER

If you are someone who likes a bit of spice to their water, try this. All you need is:

1 cup fresh pineapple pieces (crushed for a sweeter taste)

1-inch piece ginger, thinly sliced

2 cups of water

Add pineapple and ginger to the bottom of your mason jar. Add 1 cups of water to the mixture. If you are someone who likes the strong taste of ginger, you can keep the infused water aside for a few hours. For other’s, it is advised that you directly consume it.
