While cabbage is a kind of leafy vegetable that can be eaten in a variety of ways, be it steamed, cooked, boiled or juiced. It is a cruciferous vegetable and is available in colours ranging from green to purple to red. Both cauliflower and cabbage belong to the Brassicaceae family and are cruciferous vegetables. From health benefits to taste, here are some differences between the two vegetables.


Cauliflower Health benefits

Regular consumption of this vegetable helps in improving blood circulation and maintaining the proper functioning of the blood vessels, thereby improving and maintaining cardiovascular health.

Cauliflower is also effective in improving the digestive process of the body. It is a rich source of dietary fibre and promotes the elimination of toxins from the body.

It contains vitamin C, that aids in the production of collagen which maintains bone health and protects the joints.

Cauliflower is said to have a sweet and nutty flavour with bitter undertones. The texture is crunchy and the flavour is mild. It can go bad or become bitter if it is overcooked.
