Holy basil, also more popularly known as ‘tulsi’, is one of the most potent herbs that has been used in Ayurveda for thousands of years. Tulsi can be consumed everyday since it has medicinal properties. Tulsi is also rich in essential vitamins and minerals. As is tested by time and several home remedies, tulsi is also well known to combat bacterial and viral infections.
