However, the difference is, that while we have to settle with the regular hotel rooms or sometimes even guest-houses (*eye-roll*) these lucky stars have the highly coveted 'holiday homes' that most of us can only dream of. 

Now we're all aware of the perks of stardom, like the fancy rides and the plush, luxurious homes that celebrities live in. However, if you think that's what's fancy, you haven't see nothing yet! Many celebs have invested in grand (to say the least) home-away-from-home properties, that are the epitome of extravagance. Today, we're going to explore just that! 

Here's uncovering the luxe holiday homes of the biggest stars from the Indian film industry... Try not to turn green with envy! 

1. Shah Rukh Khan 

King Khan has a luxury holiday home on the The Palm Jumeirah in Dubai. The property is a massive one, sprawling over 8500 square feet and is reportedly worth a whopping 18 crores. Only expected, the villa comes with a private beach (leave alone private pool) and screams opulence! While some reports say that SRK invested in this property to be able to relax with his family whenever he finds the need to unwind, others state that it is quite possibly his reward for endorsing the Palm Jumeirah. Whatever it may be, it's his and it's jaw-droppingly fantastic! 

2. Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan 

Imagine owning a palace to let your hair down in, as and when you like. Well, your fantasy is someone's reality! The hottest Nawab on the block, Saif Ali Khan, is the proud owner of Pataudi Palace, that is his and his lovely wife's occassional getaway. Constructed in the early 1990's, the palace was run by the Neemrana Group that ran the property as a luxury hotel for a few years, until Saif took repossession of it in 2014. Kareena, often parties it up at Pataudi Palace with her favourite girls - Malaika and Amrita Arora, and of course, her sister, Karisma Kapoor. 

3. Jaya Bachchan and Amitabh Bachchan 

Stalwarts of Indian cinema, Amitabh Bachchan and wife Jaya Bachchan, are reportedly big fans of the fashion capital - Paris. If rumours are to believed, the couple was once on a vacation there, and that was when they fell in love with the calm and classy European city. Well, we're guessing a little fascination is all it takes for stars as big as the Bachchan's, to come to the conclusion that they'd like to purchase property there - just to be able to enjoy it as and when they fancy...and why not?! So that was that, they went on to buying a swanky three bedroom apartment in 2013, where they occasionally spend some time, while passing through the city on work. Sigh! 

4. John Abraham 

A home posh home in Bel Air, Los Angeles in USA is just a home, until you have Jennifer Aniston and Angelina Jolie as your neighbours - then it's a holiday home! A smart businessman, a decent actor and a whole lot of hotness, John surely knows how to make the right investments in the choicest of locations. 

5. Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan 

Not leaving Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan too far behind, Abhi and Ash are also revelling in the perks of stardom. The handsome couple are the proud owners of a resort style villa in Jumeirah Gold Estates in Dubai, which comes with landscaped gardens, a swimming pool and a pool house that overlooks an 18-hole championship golf course. If that's not impressive enough, their holiday home aslo has an automation system and concierge service. Wowies! 

6. Priyanka Chopra 

Priyanka Chopra is not only "feeling so exotic," she's buying exotic! The global sensation fulfilled her dream holiday home fantasy, when she purchased a luxurious beach house in Goa. According to sources, the lovely lady's paradise is situated near the popular touristy Baga beach and has a beautiful lawn and all the ammenities anyone could ask for. PeeCee herself has put in a lot of thought and planning into the house interiors and as expected, it's to die for! 

7. Aamir Khan 

Aamir Khan needs everything to be just as close to perfect as he himself is, and so, when it comes to chooisng a vacation home, that too, needs to be on point. Spread over two acres, Aamir bought the property off director Homi Adajania for a whopping Rs 7 crore, back in 2006. Mr. Perfectionist went on the having the property refurbished according to his likes and dislikes and now, it serves as an ideal spot for him to chill with his pals and wife, Kiran Rao. 

8. Suneil Shetty 

An uber glam villa in Khandala is THE getaway location for Suneil Shetty and his wife Mana Shetty. The home has a contemporary vibe and is designed by the couples close friend and a famed architect, Alan Abraham. The interiors of the villa are designed by Mana herself, with beautiful pieces of furniture and and accessories from her own store. Spread across 6200 square feet, the place has 5 bedrooms and...wait for it........ a dining room suspended above the private pool! God damn.
