Arrogance vs Confidence: How to tell the difference
There is a very fine line between being confident and arrogant. Here are some ways to know the difference between the two and to tell if someone is being confident or arrogant.

Confidence is an attribute that everyone wants. It is something that helps you in being successful and in feeling self-assured. Being confident makes you look attractive and helps you in being the best version of yourself. But sometimes one can go overboard with this confidence and become arrogant.
Arrogance can make you look shallow and drive people away from you. Both confidence and arrogance are poles apart but there is a very fine line between the two. Here are some differences between the two to not get confused.
Arrogance
Arrogance often comes due to hidden insecurities. People become arrogant when they feel insecure about themselves and try to hide their flaws by boasting about their talents or skills.
When people are arrogant, they tend to have a closed mind and are not willing to listen to any opposing points of view.
Arrogant people tend to brag a lot. They are huge show-offs and don’t leave any chance to seek the spotlight and be condescending and patronizing towards other people.
Confidence
Confident people are sure of themselves and know their worth. They have faith in themselves and are secure, grounded, and humble.
Confident people believe in teamwork and in taking everyone along with them. They value the efforts of other people and give credit where it is due.
Confident people are sure enough of themselves to listen to differing viewpoints and to give them enough thought instead of blindly dismissing them off.
