Bollywood celebrity engagement rings that can be spotted from the moon

Who doesn't love a big rock to flash? Especially if it's given to you by the love of our life and it's a symbol of eternal commitment. When it comes to B-Town proposals, engagements and marriages, there's obviosuly got to be a whole lot of style, opulence and the works involved. If you think our leading ladies would settle for a regular gold band or pea sized diamond ring, think again! They're stars and they've gotta shine, quite literally! 

Today, we did a bit of sincere stalking, and we traced some of the most stunning rings that these beauties have been sporting, ever since they got engaged. Before we break it down for you, I must warn you that if you're heading towards tying the knot, this might get your expectations rocketed to being sky high. While we encorage you to admire them and allow a little healthy jealousy, we also urge you to cut your guy some slack, if he's unable to deliver something as grandoise. 

Now that we've put a disclaimer out there, let's go ahead and turn green with envy, together... 

1. Kareena Kapoor Khan 

Kareena has always admitted to loving diamonds and when she fell in love with a Nawab, the handsome Saif Ali Khan, it was a given that he'd leave no stone unturned to woo his lady love. He presented Bebo with a 5 carat platinum band, when they tied the knot in 2012. 

2. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan 

Abhishek Bachchan floored Aishwarya Rai Bachchan with a 53 carat diamond ring that reportedly costed him 50 lakh rupees and slipped it on her finger in the romantic captial of France - Paris! Now that's only justice for the most beautiful woman in the world.

3. Vidya Balan 

We're all aware that Vidya Balan likes to stick to her traditional avatar, so it was no surprise when she ditched a shiny diamond ring for a gold and ruby ring, given to her by hubby Siddharth Roy Kapur.  Nevertheless, it's very 'Vidya' and goes well with her choice of outfits. 

4. Rani Mukherjee 

Rani Mukherjee has the most dazzling eyes, the brightest eyes and a ring on her finger to match! She was presented with a big chunky sparkler by the talented Aditya Chopra and proudly falunts it like the queen she is! 

5. Esha Deol 

Unlike other actresses, Esha Deol didn't shy away from showing off her wedding ring in front of the paparazzi, in fact, she especially held her hand up in the air for everyone to see. Bharat Takhtani, her beau, gave her an eternity band with a solitaire on their engagement day, followed by another one on their wedding day. 

6. Lara Dutta 

Lara Dutta is a former Miss Universe and clearly, that's the cue that just anything ain't gonna do the trick. Lucky for her, she found the perfect partner and someone who understood that, in Mahesh Bhupati, who took her out for a romantic dinner in New York, and surprised her with a customised diamond rock that he designed by himself! 

7. Genelia D'Souza 

Riteish Deshmukh and his charming wife Genelia, are one of the cutest couples in B-Town. They're always looking at each other with so much love, holding hands and basically, just setting goals for unmarried couples, all day, everyday. The symbol of their romance? A blindingly huge solitaire on Genelia's ring finger that can be spotted from the moon!

8. Shilpa Shetty 

The curvateous Shilpa Shetty stepped out with a jawdroppingly beautiful 20 carat solitaire, rumoured to be worth a whopping Rupees 3 crore, after marriage.The ring soon became the talk of the town, as thousands of admirers discussed it on social media platforms. Well done, Mr. Kundra, we're impressed!
