Bigg Boss is one of the most watched reality television series in India. The television game show is the Indian version of the Dutch-British show Big Brother and has been extended into seven different languages that are spoken in India. The first season of the Bigg Boss franchise premiered in 2006 on the Sony TV channel after which it shifted to the channel Colors from the second season onwards. Even though the reality series has been hosted by Arshad Warsi, Shilpa Shetty and Amitabh Bachchan hosted the first three seasons of Bigg Boss respectively, Bollywood superstar has been hosting the show for over a decade. The plot of the game show revolves around a house where 15 celebrities who are unknown to each other by nature in reality are put together in one house. These participants are then given different tasks to perform and are also given an opportunity to nominate the housemates they don’t like in order to get eliminated from the house. Having completed 13 years of the show, Bigg Boss is now all set for the grand finale of Bigg Boss 14 to be held on February 21, 2021.
